It isn’t every day you get to celebrate a WORLD RECORD SETTER!
Congratulations to Trevor Parde & Family for exhibiting what has been widely considered one of the greatest Yorkshire gilts to surface perhaps ever. Not only was she the Grand Champion NSR Gilt at the 2024 NJSS, she broke the WORLD RECORD for Yorkshire gilts when she sold for $72,000!
Here’s what Trevor had to say about the different Sunglo products he used on his gilt:
“Game On was probably the one product that I used that pushed her to the next level the most. I thought it just gave her a way better look and kept her looking fresh, along with a huge back. S’more Fill was also something that I used a lot to give her a huge center and barrel rib. Final Control was what I fed in early June to just slow her down and make sure she didn’t look too stale by the end of the season. Stuffed was what I used to drop her center and give her that look of being a big, mature gilt. I used Smooth at the end to help mellow her out and make her look like a big ring gilt. 4Sure was the electrolyte I used before, and during the many shows that she went to to give her that extra look in the ring.” – Trevor Parde
