Ingredients
  1. Put the cork stopper in the bottom hole of the container. Keep the stopper in the entire time the coffee is steeping. Saturate the filter in a glass of water and place it in the filter container. This helps clean the filter and also blooms the coffee grounds, extracting more flavor.
  2. Place coffee grounds in the Toddy filter container, then pour 3 cups of water on top of the coffee beans. Make sure the coffee beans are saturated by using the spoon to gently push down the coffee beans. Wait 5 minutes.
  3. After five minutes, pour the rest of the water on top of the coffee beans. DO NOT STIR. Put the lid on top and let the coffee steep untouched for 12–24 hours at room temperature but should be kept from direct sunlight.
  4. Remove the stopper and let the coffee slowly flow into the glass decanter. It may take a while for the coffee to filter through. After it’s done filtering, place the decanter in the fridge. The coffee will be fresh for up to two weeks.
